WRITE! CLUB membership WRITE! Club members agree not to share their login information, video links to archived items, or Zoom links to Writing Together sessions or any other events. They must respect the privacy of other members and engage at all times in respectful and supportive behavior; otherwise, we reserve the right to terminate their membership.
Membership subscriptions are automatically deducted from a member’s account on a monthly or yearly basis depending on the option chosen at the subscription page: https://sophienicholls.substack.com/subscrib
Cancellations: WRITE! Club membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time without penalty by following the instructions for cancellation provided by Substack: https://support.substack.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037489252-How-do-I-cancel-my-paid-subscription-on-Substack.
Refunds: Please contact Substack if you believe that a subscription payment has been deducted in error after your membership has been cancelled. Please note: It is your responsibility to manage your subscription and cancellation.
Refunds for courses: We do not provide refunds for online courses, since we provide downloadable materials up-front, which you will receive on completion of payment of your course fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellation requests for paid bookings, workshops, courses and events must be made in writing and sent via email to sophie@sophienicholls.com
Cancellation fees for one-to-one writing retreats will be deducted from the full price on the following basis per person:
Outside 6 months from the start: 100% refund
Outside 90 days from the start: 75% refund
Between 89-32 days from the start: 50% refund;
Within 31 days of the start: no refund.
You may also transfer your course or retreat booking to another person at any point, thereby avoiding cancellation costs.
It may also be possible for us to hold your fees as credit towards a future retreat or course.
If a paid event has to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, participants will not automatically receive a refund. Instead, Sophie Nicholls Ltd will make every possible effort to reschedule the event at a mutually convenient time or, if this proves impossible, to offer similar services of an equal or greater value.
