Join Creative Journal Camp!
Hello, all adults of small and beautiful creative beings!
I’ve made something for you. It’s called Creative Journal Camp.
It’s a special bumper 25-page download of hand-drawn inspiration for children of roughly middle grade age. I’d say that children of around 6 - 12 (depending on the stage that your child is at) will love Creative Journal Camp.
The pack is designed to help children to explore their creativity, stretch their brilliant brains and develop their confidence, all within the pages of a journal - or basically any bits and bobs of paper that you happen to have lying around the house.
Once you’ve downloaded Creative Journal Camp, you can print off the pages and let your children take over.
But please don’t worry if you don’t have a printer - or, right now, your ink cartridge needs replacing for the upteenth time. (Why does that always happen at the precise moment that you need it most?)
Yes, your kiddos can colour in the printed pages or doodle all over them. But they can also scroll through the pages on a screen and then use them as templates for new designs and pages of their own.
They might just need some help with setting up camp, gathering a few drawing materials, some books and magazines, some comfy pillows and blankets. Perhaps even some snacks - I’ll leave that up to you.
Creative Journal Camp includes:
Writing prompts - and ideas for using them
A Story Hunt
A Reading Log
A Goal Tracker
Plus pages of inspiration about how to keep a journal to explode your creativity.
The emphasis is on kindness, self-compassion, making ‘mistakes’ and creative growth.
I loved making it and I’m so excited to share it with you.
Hi! I’m Sophie Nicholls. I’m a writer, teacher and writing mentor and I love helping people to (re)discover their creativity through writing. I can help you to get started with writing, fall back in love with your writing practice or finish that book you’ve always dreamed of writing.
I’m also fascinated by the connections between writing and wellbeing and I’ve been researching and teaching in this area for over twenty years. I’d love to help you to explore the ways that writing can help you to nurture your wellbeing. Find out more at sophienicholls.com
